Recology Route Change Effective June 1

June Route Changes in Moss Beach for Recology Weekly Collection

MWSD contracts with Recology of the Coast to provide garbage, food waste, and green material collection, recycling, and disposal services in Montara and Moss Beach. As part of their contract obligation, Recology regularly assesses services and collection routes to ensure maximum efficiency for our community.

Recology has identified a collection efficiency in Moss Beach and plans to adjust routes to reduce truck trips and our collection footprint. This service change will effect approximately 550 accounts in Moss Beach.

Recology has notified affected customers with day change stickers attached to garbage carts. Information is also posted on Recology’s website. The first pickup for this new collection schedule is planned for the week of June 1st.
