Montara Water and Sanitary District is close to adopting its first strategic plan, a five-year outlook on the agency’s goals and priorities that will be reviewed twice a year.
The district’s board of directors met Thursday evening, with the only agenda item being to review and possibly adopt the document. While the board held off on adoption to allow for small changes to some of the language within the plan, MWSD General Manager Clemens Heldmaier anticipates the final version could come before the board for adoption at its next meeting.
“It’s a very thorough plan,” Heldmaier said. “I’m very pleased with the outcome so far.”
